The Informed homeowner July 2010

Things are picking up. Homes are starting to move and quite quickly if priced correctly.

Still see foreclosure notices of trustee sale in the local papers, but not as many as before.

Did you know that if you are in a NOT (notice of trustee sale) or pre foreclosure NOD(notice of default) the "bank" cannot tresspass on your property. Not even if you are on notice of the pending sale. They cannot tresspass to "mow" the lawn, or change your locks, anything. They need to give you prior notice of intent in writing and at least 10 days before. But the neatest thing is they cannot send a contractor or an "agent". Only the trustee can come onto your property in a pre-foreclosure situation. So if you are getting hastled by an "agent" of your bank, you can tell them off, but in writing of course.

When I found out this information I was burning mad. How many others are being wronged by the "banks"
